I enjoy fishing with my husband, but in the past I would spend a good deal of time untangling knotted line. This reel so far seems to not allow loops to form when casting. It is a little heavier than my other reels but it really does allow me to cast quite a bit farther than my other reels!
The only thing I would have liked a little more is a feature that older reels have…. the little “trigger” that helps you grab and hold the line just before you cast. (Maybe that’s just a “girlie” feature, but I like it. Of course, it’s not a “must have” by any means).
All in all, a very comfortable reel.

Well, I just got this reel before last weekend. I went on a big fishing trip and it was marvelous! I was able to land 8-10lb fish with ease! Very smooth cast, quick and smooth reel, and a perfect drag to match. I would recommend this reel to anyone who loves fishing and doesn’t want to deal with short casts and tangled lines. Love it, .
